Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is the European branch of Hyundai MOBIS, a worldwide leading supplier of genuine parts and accessories in the field of automotive. Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.

Your profile

  • Have a Bachelor or Master‘s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production  Management or a similar degree.

  • VDA 6.3 audit certification is well appreciated.

  • Min. 5 years’ experience at a Tier 1 automotive supplier or at an   automotive OEM.

  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under time pressure.

  • High passion for self-development.

  • Driven by self-initiative and willing to find solutions on  diverse topics.

  • Proficient with MS Office Tools such as Excel, Powerpoint,  Visual Basics, Word and Outlook.

  • Fluent in English and German languages. Knowledge of Korean is an advantage.

Your tasks

In order to support us in preparing suppliers status including Quality- and engineering status and 

Constantly follow up suppliers part status, you will be responsible for :

  • Ensuring readiness for series production before the start of production and during series production in the event of relocations, technical changes or supplier change:

  • Conducting regular meeting with suppliers and reporting to customer.

  • Weekly or Bi-Weekly meeting for tracking development/logistics/package/Contracts.

  • Supplying contract with Tier Ns tracking.

  • Package development tracking. 

  • PPA cover sheet/ IMDS report tracking.

  • Start system(development)/ PIA system( PPA ) Tracking.

  • Capacity tracking.

  • Management of the PPAP process for suppliers in the area of responsibility.

  •  PPA cover sheet/ IMDS / Q History .

  • Close co-operation with all involved stakeholders; development, Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Sales team as well as customer.

  • Establishing a repository for all supplier management documents.

  • Ensuring supplier has enough production capacities

  • Managing esacalation meetings with customer.

  •  Addressing price management issue with the suppliers.
