Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.
Your profile

First and Second German State Exam ("Volljurist") with good results (minimum: "Befriedigend" in both State Exams) or comparable law degree from another European country

Automotive experience and in particular active negotiations experience with OEMs is recommended. Further special legal expertise, e.g. antitrust, IP, IT law is welcome.

Good understanding of business constellations and the technical design of products in the Automotive Business

Team player with strong communication skills

People person and showing good skills in leading the business in their business relationship with the customer and suppliers.

Cultural awareness and ability to quickly build a strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders

Willingness to constantly learn about the Automotive Business and develop furthers skills

Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages, especially German, would be an advantage
Your tasks
-
Provide legal consultancy to the Mobis business regarding Global OE business (sales, procurement, MTCE and other relevant departments) with a focus on Germany and other European countries in all aspects of business law (e.g. civil, commercial, antitrust, IP, etc.)

Provide legal consultancy also to other Mobis affiliates outside the European region in case of need for alignment/support.

Support the organization and major stakeholders in internal decision making and assist negotiations with customers and suppliers, such as OEMs, Tier 1 customers and OE supplier, regarding all legal matters of business law

Provide guidance to other legal consultants in Europe or globally dedicated to OE matters and strenghten the work relationship with them.

Educate staff active in the Mobis Global OE business, e.g. Sales, procurement, engineering teams etc. about relevant legal topics (for instance contract law, anti trust law, confidentiality).

Review and evaluate all forms of contracts, unilateral statements and other communication with the OE customer, given legal implication, e.g. supply, development, service and other agreements, general terms and offer letters

Create contract templates, other standard formats like e.g. standard offer letter and other documents to facilitate business efficiency and ensuring uniform approach in the Global OE business of Mobis

Support internal alignment between departments accross Affiliates related to Global OE business with a view on legal topics

Support negotiations and business partner discussions.

Develop Strategies for further developing the support of the Global OE business and helping the business to structure their work better relating to legal & compliance aspects
